爱是一种神圣的东西。若深入内心，就会将它撕裂。人心被创造出来就是供撕裂的。当它被其他东西撕裂时，就是最可悲的浪费。但它宁可被月力基他东西，而不是被神圣的爱撕裂。因为神圣的爱只撕裂自愿被撕裂的心。这种自愿是困难的。

　　人的生活是不能忍受的。但只有不幸才会使人感到这一点。

　　我们的生活就是不可能，是荒谬。我们所欲的每件事都同与其有关联的条件和后果相矛盾，我们所提出的每种说法都包含着相反的看法，我们所有的感情都同它们的对立物相混杂。因为我们是矛盾体，既是造物，也是上帝，又远非上帝。

　　当人们不管做出何种努力，似乎都不可能得到某种东西时，就表明在此层次上有不可跨越的界限，并表明更换层次和限制破裂的必然性。在此层次上耗尽精力是一种堕落。最好是接受界限，注视它并品尝它带来的全部苦味。
